Bliss Protection was founded in 2006 by a crew of enthusiastic mountain bikers, skiers, and snowboarders. All those involved repeatedly faced the same problem: the protectors available on the market at that time were too heavy, uncomfortable, and made you look like a "Robo-Cop." Reason enough to create something of their own, something new, something never seen before. 

Bliss Protection sets itself apart from many other companies due to its company philosophy. The primary goal was never to achieve maximum cash flow, but rather to develop a product that helps athletes pursue their passion more safely and comfortably without sacrificing freedom of movement. Because let's be honest, every biker, ski or snowboard rider knows that feeling after a few rounds of riding: getting your body up to operating temperature and suddenly starting to sweat profusely under the thick plastic layers of the protector! Now it's a matter of gritting your teeth and not showing it, taking a break and waiting for the layers of plastic, foam, and cotton to dry, or taking off the protectors. None of these options are acceptable for Bliss Protection!

The founders were always preoccupied with the idea of a revolutionary protector system. For over five years, the S2Lab worked on a special formula and conducted research until the birth of the production-ready and revolutionary ARG material. The innovative ARG material is super thin and flexible, thus guaranteeing extremely high freedom of movement with maximum protective effect. Bliss packed all these attributes into protective clothing that easily meets the CE motorcycle standards. As it turned out, this type of protector is exactly what action sports enthusiasts around the world are seeking.

The industry and media also soon recognized the advantages of the in-house developed ARG material. For this reason, various Bliss Protection products were awarded the Eurobike Award in 2012 and the Design & Innovations Award in 2013 and 2014.
